Aaron Elie
Bio
I have lived in North Park for 5 years and I am continually amazed by the compassion, creativity and perseverence of the members of this community. North Park is a very special neighborhood and I am proud to live here.
I work on an interdisciplinary team as a case worker with Island Health, and I am half-way through a Masters of Counselling program with City University, where I am also the Student Council President. I have also worked as a Quality Analyst with what is now Telus Health, as the Crisis Line Manager at a local suicide hotline, and as a bilingual supervisor with Kids Help Phone. I also volunteered with Indigenous and psychiatric organizations in Ottawa before moving to Victoria to be closer to family. I want to give back to this wonderful community and I would love to do so alongside the NPNA.

Leann Trenchard
Bio
I’m a long-time resident of North Park, having lived here for 28 years. I recently retired after a fulfilling career in education, including 11 years of teaching at George Jay Elementrary, our local elementary school. With more time now to give back, I look forward to being able to contribute to the neighbourhood in a new way and supporting the work of the NPNA.
I believe it is important for the board to reflect a diverse range of perspectives and lived experiences. I like to contribute to these conversations and play a part in shaping thoughtful decisions that reflect the needs and priorities of local residents. My goal is to help ensure our neighbourhood remains a safe , vibrant and well cared for community.
Sean Kahil
Bio
I joined the board when the first Crystal pool process came around and then I stayed. Also keen on opening the RAP to the non-paying public. Of course when the COVID came around I helped deal with the flood of need. Helped set up the encampment that turned into tiny town. Helped deal with the fallout of the flooding and impact on neighbours from tiny town.
Spent countless hours talking to politicians.
In my off hours I’m Sophia’s dad. I write software for a living. I like motorcycles of all sorts, boats, and moss.
