Lived experience of disability is essential expertise.</p>
<p>The NPNA has launched a year-long Accessible Pathways to Civic Engagement initiative, funded by Disability Alliance of BC. </p>
<p>A committee of 9 North Park residents with lived experience of disability will lead neighbourhood advocacy on municipal issues, and receive compensation for their expertise. </p>
<p>The municipal decisions being made right now will affect our community for decades, and those decisions must include these voices.

Get Growing, Victoria!</p>
<p>The Get Growing, Victoria! program supports food security across Greater Victoria. </p>
<p>The NPNA and VIRCS-BC’s Welcome Gardens partner to deliver soil-building materials and seedlings, provided by the City of Victoria, to residents in North Park who face barriers to growing their own food.
