Resilience hub
We are super excited to be launching the NPNA Community Resilience Hub for the summer 2024 season! You’ll find us open evenings and weekends in the AbbeyChurch/First Met Courtyard at 1701 Quadra St, next to our friends at Vinyl Envy!
We have board games, puzzles, sports equipment and more available for you to borrow, and we’d love to hear your ideas for things to add to our lending library! Come have a seat in the shade enjoy a sparkling water, cool down, and connect with your neighbours!
Thank you to Community Foundations of Canada for making this initiative possible!
Grocery hamper program
Every Thursday, the NPNA puts together free, weekly grocery hampers that go out to about 95 households per week, representing about 200 individuals. Hamper recipients live in the North Park neighbourhood. The hampers are made up of produce, bread, dairy, and non-perishable items. These are sorted by an amazingly efficient group of volunteers on Thursdays. We couldn’t do this program without these wonderful, dedicated volunteers!
Arts & crafts circle
Join the NPNA Arts & Crafts Circle to learn a variety of art & craft mediums for free!
Follow us on Eventbrite for free arts & craft workshops at 1025 Mason St. Presented by our resident artist Kamryn Badyal and guest instructors!
North Park Neighbourhood Video
Watch the music video for “North Park” by Graeme Bousuda! In 2022 we partnered with local artists on a My Great Neighborhood grant project to produce this music video.
Reach out to us if you have any ideas for a My Great Neighbourhood project, applications for 2025 open on Feb 1st
