Victoria Health Co-operative is a volunteer-run, not-for-profit co-op working to enhance the health and wellness of its Member-Owners and the wider community. Victoria Community Health Co-op is located in the Cook Street Village Activity Centre.
Due to COVID19 restrictions, the co-op currently offers virtual No-Touch Wellbeing Sessions on a variety of health related topics. Recent topics included: the influence of stress, emotions and nutrition on our immune system; gentle an exercise regime; youth and trauma; understanding blood pressure; nutrition. Two very experienced RNs have recently joined the team and will be available by phone to provide individual and/or Zoom help. Limited in-person services, following COVID protocols, will be available when this is absolutely necessary. These services will be provided under the BC Medical Services Plan (your Care Card) with no charge to the client. There will be a special Meet the Registered Nurses event TUESDAY, MAY 4, 2021 – 7 – 8pm at https://us02web.zoom.us/j/86441610262.
