Weekly Knitting Circle With Colleen
Come knit with your neighbours! Every Tuesday and Thursday from 2-6pm, master knitter, Colleen will be setting up her knitting basket at the Vancouver Street Plaza, and you’re invited to stop by!
First time knitters will be provided with instruction and some knitting needles and yarn to get started. Experienced knitters are invited to bring a project!
This activity takes place outside – dress warmly
Colleen will be teaching new and experienced knitters how to make these lovely, autumnal pumpkins!

The Vancouver Street Plaza is located on Vancouver Street between Caledonia and Pembroke.
The Vancouver Street Plaza is a community space made possible with the “Healthy Communities Initiative” grant from Community Foundations of Canada. This grant is designed to activate underused public spaces in equity deserving neighbourhoods.
The Vancouver Street Plaza project – in collaboration with the City of Victoria – includes a mural, little free library, seating, and a lending hub. The lending hub is a larger than life “little free library.” It is stocked with board games, chess & checker sets, puzzles, lawn games, art supplies, gardening tools, bicycle repair kits, a bike pump, and more! You can borrow these items for free everyday between 12pm-6pm.
