Project Overview

The Province and BC Housing have opened Caledonia Place (formerly Tiny Town), a 30-unit temporary housing facility funded through the HEARTH program. This facility provides housing for long-term shelter residents, helping to free up shelter space for people currently living outdoors.

Site Update

The temporary housing with supports at 940 Caledonia Avenue (Caledonia Place) will permanently close on March 31, 2026. The units will remain in place over the coming winter to ensure BC Housing has enough time to offer current residents alternative housing. Once Caledonia Place is vacant, BC Housing will dismantle and remove all structures from the site.
