Project Overview:

The ACEH, in partnership with BC Housing, is developing a facility that will include 30–35 studio and two-bedroom units for individuals and families, along with wrap-around supportive services such as culturally appropriate social, health, and land-based healing services. The project addresses a critical gap in transitional housing and aims to strengthen housing stability, health, and social integration for Indigenous Street Family community members healing from substance use.

Project Update:

Demolition of the existing building at 938 Mason Street is underway and expected to be completed by the end of 2025. During this process, the NPNA was informed that a Garry Oak tree was removed after it was found to be structurally compromised.

Following demolition, the subdivision and purchase of a portion of the adjacent parcel owned by St. John the Divine (930 Mason Street) are scheduled for completion in early 2026.
