938 Mason Street (Wellness House)
Project Overview:
The ACEH, in partnership with BC Housing, is developing a facility that will include 30–35 studio and two-bedroom units for individuals and families, along with wrap-around supportive services such as culturally appropriate social, health, and land-based healing services. The project addresses a critical gap in transitional housing and aims to strengthen housing stability, health, and social integration for Indigenous Street Family community members healing from substance use.
Project Update:
The existing building at 938 Mason Street has been demolished, and BC Housing is moving into the next phase of the project: site preparation and construction. BC Housing will share an updated project timeline once it is finalized and ready to be shared with neighbours.
