Weekly Grocery Hamper Delivery Program

The NPNA is putting together free, weekly grocery hampers made up of produce, bread, dairy, some non-perishable items and eggs. These are sorted and delivered by volunteers on Thursdays between 12-3pm. If you live in North Park, and would benefit from a hamper, please contact executivedirector@npna.ca.

Thank you to the funders that are making this program possible: First Metropolitan Church, North Park Bicycle Shop, the Foodshare Network, The Red Cross, Cobbs Bread, and Modo Care Share.

Stop by Franklin Green on April 12 between 11am-5pm to pick up some free wood chips, leaf mulch, and compost! Thank you to the City of Victoria for making these garden materials available to the community!
Get Growing, Victoria is a free food seedlings distribution program that was created in 2020. The City works in partnership with community and non-profit organizations to distribute food seedlings in the Spring and the Summer to communities disproportionally impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The project prioritizes support for people who have been disproportionally impacted by the pandemic and want to grow food at home, but that may be facing barriers to access to food plants and garden materials, or are facing barriers to access fresh, locally grown food.
That may include, but is not limited to, those who have experienced loss of work, Indigenous people, people who are immunocompromised, people with disabilities, seniors, at-risk youth, families in need, and/or people who self-identify as food insecure. For more information, or to see a full list of all neighbourhood distribution partners visit here.

If this describes you, please complete this survey!

Your contact information will only be used by the North Park Neighbourhood Association to inform you when seedlings are ready to be collected. The remaining information, without your contact details, will be shared with the City of Victoria to analyze and report on program performance.
